There were a couple of stories that came in during my break which I thought were worth a mention..
Firstly that Zoopla have announced they are to show listings on eBay and (sales only) Gumtree. Gumtree is big in the rentals market, but sales, I'm not so sure. Still, any additions to the Zoopla website network are likely to be positive in terms of brand awareness.
Secondly, along the lines I discussed back in April, "Rightmove" is now a more searched for term on Google than "property" itself - thereby illustrating the value of that very same brand awareness.Things always comes in threes, so I wasn't surprised when I also received a press release from Zoopla's Lawrence Hall announcing a multi-million pound marketing campaign for later on in the year.
You do all list your properties on Zoopla I assume? Their coverage is definitely worth taking seriously.
I do wonder whether or not they work as well in practice, but for those of you that have a lot of properties and a lack of window space, they might be an interesting option? I suppose it depends if they are cheaper to setup than digital screens (which PropertyADD could power for you, right out of the box!).
